Jesus Christ, who is the Hope of the world, has given us His promise of salvation. Our personal relationship with Him is All-Sufficient not only to sustain us in this life but to give us a hope of obtaining eternal life as well. We have this hope "as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul" (Heb 6:19). In an age and culture often marked by discouragement and despair, we aspire to be an instrument of hope to others as they seek and pursue life in Christ.
At the foot of the anchor of the cross, we find Mary, our beloved Mother, standing courageously by Jesus (John 19:25). We look to her example and ask her intercession as we strive to live with Jesus – the Hope of the world – as our All-Sufficiency.
