Practice makes permanent. The quality of training forms the character of an athlete, of a soldier, of a nation. While most accept this on a human level, they do not activate these principals spiritually. Many Catholics become passive in seeking the Lord. Knowing that the “violent [or active] shall inherit the kingdom”, we want to pursue holiness with vigor. Our thoughts, words, and actions should call each other to full manhood in Christ. In this sense, the Lord forges us as weapons for his use.
