Our life is more about who we are than what we do. This means being a brother first. Jesus called men to himself so that he could be with them, and then send them forth to preach. We are a band of men who share our lives together. Our first concern is to help our Brothers grow spiritually and so to gain heaven. That means that in every aspect of life we need to be a support to one another. This communion is at the heart of the Church experience: where many can gather into one body. It is from this communion that we “wage war” for the kingdom. Our mission flows back into this body as we rejoice over what the Lord has done in our midst.
