This summer we were responsible for over 15 college men who decided to live with or nearby us. During this time, the focus is growth in prayer and Christian manhood as well as training and practice in the Brothers’ mission of evangelization.
Amanda Hamilton was given the opportunity to represent the Catholic Student Union at FSU and speak at the Verizon Center for the March for Life’s Youth Rally and Mass in front of a crowd of approximately 22,000 people. She exhorted the crowd to strive for a culture of life, “Every action you take can make a difference. Take courage in our Lord, for in loving Him, and putting Him first, we can build a culture of Life... We have the true freedom to choose the right path. It is not the easy path, but if God is with us, who can stand against us?”
At the conclusion of the VIth Assembly of the Brotherhood of Hope on December 31st, a new government was elected to serve the brothers. Joining reelected General Superior Br. Rahl Bunsa are councilors-elect: Br. Stephen Quense, First Councilor; Br. Jude Lasota; and Br. Ted Psemeneki. Please pray that these Brothers will embody the words our governing documents use to describe our leaders: that they are “men who love the Lord, who are eager to see others love and serve the Lord, and who love their Brothers.”
Students from Northeastern University, Berklee School of Music, New England Conservatory, and Boston Conservatory spent their weekend learning about God's eternal strength on the CCNU's Fall retreat.
